Whānau and School Updates

We are a group of family members and staff, who organise events that bring both fun and funds to our school community. Anyone is welcome to join - it’s a great way to get to know others and keep in touch with what is happening at school. 

Right now, we’d love to have a few more members on board to make sure we can spread the jobs (and the fun!) around. In particular we’re currently looking for a couple more people to help with the organisation of either the school disco or the quiz night. We look forward to holding the usual popular events for our school community this year, including a disco in Term 1 (evening of Thursday, 23rd March), quiz night in Term 2, baked goods fundraiser in Term 3, and our online art auction in Term 4. 

We also wanted to give you a heads up about the 2024 school fair! Each year we alternate between our two major fundraisers - the art auction and the fair. Traditionally, these have both been held in Term 4, but as that becomes such a busy time of year, next year we plan to hold our school fair in Term 1 instead. Stay tuned to hear more about those plans later this year.
