Bike Skills track official opening!

The sun was shining and everyone was very excited to welcome our special guests and dignitaries along to our Grand Bike Skills Track opening.

City Councillor Christine Geary along with Jack Mooney (one of our oldest pupils) and Connor Blair (one of our youngest pupils) cut the gold ribbon after Nic gave the speeches to thank all our sponsors and karakia to bless our track.

Connor, Jack and Nic Brown did a couple of fast laps to officially open the track and then representatives from each class zoomed around the track to some amazing tunes courtesy of DJ Ward on the decks. The culmination was CAKE enjoyed by all to celebrate everyone's hard mahi and the long journey to this Bike Skills track being completed!
