Doug Hart's incredible painting

On the 5th of May we were honoured to receive a very special painting which shows the history of Macandrew Bay!

A group of wonderful Macandrew Bay residents and local good sorts all chipped in to buy this amazing painting by artist Doug Hart for our kura (there have only been 6 of these made)!  It will hang in our office area where the tamariki can view it easily and learn about the history of our special place, Macandrew Bay.  Brian Miller gave the Senior children a special history lesson today at Focus Assembly and artist Doug Hart answered questions about his painting.  Doug and Brian also talked about finding something that you passionate about and how you can turn that into your job.  Make sure you call into the office to see it sometime, it is spectacular!
