Macandrew Bay School Parent Network
Tēnā koutou Macandrew Bay School parents.
In response to the Covid-19 restrictions, your Home and School Committee is planning to focus on building community networks and support, rather than fundraising through the coming months.
Many of us are well connected through our wider whānau to this area, and are busy meeting the needs of grandparents and neighbours. However, some of our school families are newer to the area, and may not have met their neighbours yet.
Whilst the window for meeting and greeting has now closed for the short term, many of us are able to link into this digital network to seek and share knowledge and resources for the coming weeks.
Many school resources are being organised by the Ministry and staff of MBS, and we offer these links as add-ons to those.
We invite you to check them out, as well as joining the newly minted MBS Parent Network Facebook Page, and hope that you might find or share some inspiration and connection over the coming weeks.
Please reach out if you need support, this community has some local legends. Take care out there.

Whilst we acknowledge our legendary teachers are committed to connecting with their students after their holiday, some of us may be searching for inspiration over the coming weeks for ways to connect to the outside world safely, what to introduce into our daily schedules, or how to access services and we wanted to provide a local response to this need.
We welcome your input, and seek to maintain the positive focus of our Prime Minister, keeping it calm and kind.
We hope that this website page, as well as the newly minted MBS Parent Network Facebook Page, will provide some inspiration and connection over the coming weeks. Please reach out if you need support, this community has some local legends.
